Bilbo Baggins is a hobbit who enjoys a comfortable, unambitious life, rarely traveling any farther than his pantry or cellar. Es bonito volver a la Tierra Media

No sé si es justo comparar este libro con «El Señor de los Anillos», pero me resulta difícil no hacerlo. Pese a lo interesante de la historia y lo emocionante de cualquier viaje y aventura por la Tierra Media, no siento que haya llegado a conocer a los personajes y encariñarme de ellos como en la trilogía.
